WeinbergKids - short term care at the Campus Weinberg in Halle
Does the following sound familiar to you?
- Your lecture or seminar is in the late afternoon or evening and you have no one to take care of your child during it?
- As employees of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg you sometimes have to work longer in the evenings and the regular child care until 17 o'clock is not enough?
These problems belong to the past. Together with the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and their student council, we offer a flexible short-term care at the Weinberg Campus, Hochhaus 1, Kurt-Mothes-Str. 8.
The short-term care with the name WeinbergKids is intenden for your children from the age of 2 months up to school entry.
You can book the childcare hourly on weekdays from 1:30 to 8:30 pm and by prior arrangement outside these times and on the weekends.
This allows you to flexibly organize your study rhythm:
For example, if your lecture starts at 2:15 pm, you can book the care from 1:30 pm, so that your child(ren) will be taken care from 1:30 pm. You can leave the WeinbergKids shortly before 14 o'clock, knowing your little one is well guarded. Thus, you have enough time to get to the lecture.
If the lecture ends at 3:45 pm and you typically leave the seminar room around 3:50 pm, you will have plenty of time left to arrive to the WeinbergKids and pick up your children.
Our flexible daycare is open to all children of students of Halle, employees of the Studentenwerk Halle and the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg as well as to members of research associations.
